Brandon butler movies and tv shows12/7/2023 ![]() ![]() As soon as I did, they all looked at each other and whispered and took off, and that was it. There’s gotta be another Brandon they’re referring to.” So I kept walking, but sure enough they kept calling my name so I eventually turned around. And at first, I was thinking to myself, “There’s no way they mean you. Nothing too crazy, but I was hanging out with some friends this past weekend and we walked past a group of girls and all of a sudden one of them shouted my name. Since the new season has dropped, have you had any crazy fan encounters? I think the show reflects on what’s,unfortunately, happening in society today.Ĩ. It’s not a topic everyone wants or feels comfortable talking about, but I feel like we have to if we want to see any progression. I think both Brian and Alisha did a great job weighing in on the sensitive and difficult topic of sexual assault. Do you have any thoughts or feelings about how the show depicted this really difficult and intense topic? Several members of the cast and crew, including Brian Yorkey and Alisha Boe, have weighed in on the portrayal of sexual assault in this season. And yeah, we do have a group chat! Ross Butler’s number is.ħ. So I will admit I was a little anxious and nervous coming into it, but everyone was so welcoming, which made the experience that much more special to me. Tim and Devin Druid are a few names that come to mind - I hang out with them often.īeing one of the newer actors coming in though I didn't really know how I was going to fit in since they all knew each other and seemed to have such a solid relationship after season one. Yes, I’ve hung out with most of them and everyone in the cast is incredibly friendly. Do you guys keep in touch after filming? Is there a 13RW group chat you’re all a part of? It seems like everyone in the cast gets along really well. I’m glad that Scott did the right thing in the end.Ħ. I was learning who he was as we got the scripts over the course of filming. Other than that though I wasn't fully sure who or what Scott was about. I had a discussion early on with Brian Yorkey and he told me that Scott actually wasn't a bad guy like Bryce, so I at least was conscious of that while filming. Were you surprised he made the switch?Īt first I was pretty surprised Scott would turn on Monty in episode 12. By the end of the season, Scott teams up with Clay, Tony, and the rest of the crew to track down the polaroid pictures. I was just bear-hugging Dylan the whole time so I really didn't get to fight much, but I wish I could've thrown a few fake punches here and there. We prepped the whole fight the day before we ended up shooting it with our awesome stunt coordinator, Keith Campbell. It was definitely one of my favorite scenes we shot for season 2. The hallway fight scene was pretty wild! What was the hardest part about shooting a scene like that? At times, maybe Scott was peer pressured by Bryce and Montgomery to do certain things, whereas Jeff seemed to separate himself from that crowd from the start.Ĥ. I think Scott had a tough time coming to terms with who he truly was and who he wanted to be. On the character comparison, however, Jeff seemed to be a nicer guy who knew right from wrong. I had the pleasure of meeting Brandon a few times at some dinners and events and he's a really great person. I will definitely take that as a compliment since fans really love Jeff and actor Brandon Larracuente. I’ve noticed that some fans are referring to Scott Reed as the new Jeff Atkins. I was always learning and trying to keep up with, in my opinion, a very talented cast like this one.ģ. It was honestly a great learning experience. Just watching how they all would go about and handle themselves on set and how they would prep before each scene was something I observed throughout the season. The few scenes I had with Dylan Minnette were great, as well. Since this was my first big project, I learned a lot from Tim, Justin Prentice, and Ross Butler as I was filming with them for the majority of the time. He showed me around on my first day, and I really looked up to him throughout the season. He was the first person to extend his hand and introduce himself. The person who I clicked with first was Tim Granaderos, who plays Montgomery in the show. Who was the one person in the cast you immediately clicked with? Then, the opportunity to audition for Scott came about and, long story short, I was able to book it.Ģ. Ever since then I followed up on the show and watched all of season 1 on Netflix and became a fan of it myself. I actually first auditioned for the role of Alex when the show was in the auditioning process back in 2016.
